Professors will hire based on the following criteria:
1. if you have worked in this course
2. Other experience, if you have worked for another prof in another course
3. Marks in the course
Grad students have greater chance to get the position that undergrads.
Very smooth… I applied and interviewed with a professor. I took many classes before. But there are not enough hours to work for. Overall very good experience. I would recommend it to everyone else.

Easy just be confident in your self and don’t be shy and let it happen and you can be a TA pretty easily if you just apply. Apply to any position in your department or career that is open for a position you are passionate and willing for in order to have best chances

Ask for basic information and ask academic related questions. Browse past academic achievements. Describe your strengths and weaknesses. Dig into the problem again based on strengths and weaknesses. Wait for the interview result.
