I interviewed for Junior IT system Administrator at Unisys and had a structured interview process. The first round was conducted by a panel of four interviewers, and it went well. The panel seemed engaged and provided positive feedback, mentioning that they were happy with my responses and that the next step would involve a final round with the client the following week.
However, after the expected timeline passed, I had to proactively follow up as there was no communication regarding the next steps. Unfortunately, I did not receive any response for several weeks. Eventually, more than a month later, I received an email stating that they had decided to move in another direction.
While I appreciate the opportunity to interview with Unisys, the extended delay in communication and lack of timely updates made the experience less than ideal. A more transparent and responsive process would greatly improve the candidate experience.
