Long interview process, multiple rounds focused on background, current role, and how you’d add value. Conversational but thorough. Expect repetition across interviews and consistent questions on experience and whether or not you're a fit.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time in your sales career when you encountered an objection and explain how you overcame it.
Intro call with hr basic get to know you questions, 2nd call with sales manager, 3rd call with owner and had pitch something and try to sell them. It was a normal sales job interview process.
The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Unishippers (Laguna Hills, CA) in Oct 2025
Interview
First is 30-minute phone interview with a recruiter, Second is a 1-2 hour in-person interview with the franchisee/manager. A week later, you're invited to part three, a shadowing that lasts 6 hours, where you are interviewed by a senior account executive. Made cold calls and learned with other account executives during part three. Part four is yet another phone interview with a different manager who's a part of the franchise group. All communication is through the recruiter. An automated email tells you whether you got the job or not. No feedback, 8 hours I won't get back. Great.
