The interview process moves step by step to a higher level of difficulty. First, you will be given with an assignment. Once you pass the assignment then move to the technical round of interviews. Overall, they have an amazing recruitment journey.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The discussed different scenarios to analyse if a person is cultural fit.
Thank you for the positive feedback! We’re glad you found the recruitment journey meaningful and appreciated the focus on both technical and cultural alignment.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Unifonic (Lahore) in Mar 2022
Interview
They directly approached me on linkedIn and request for an interview. After HR interview they sent me the online coding test which I passed and then they referred to an another technical interview of just 30 mins.
They need to revisit their interview strategy. They need to realise 30 mins are not just enough for a technical interview. Initially it gave me an impression that this 30 min interview is going to be more of knowing the candidate background and explaining the currently open role because 30 mins are just enough for such a discussion.
Most of the interview questions were very basic which as per my understanding should not be asked from a person that posses more than 10 years of experience.
Nature of the question were like they can easily be searched for the solution on the Google.
Anyhow interview went quite good but to my surprise I got the rejection email, which I am not able to understand. They really need to revisit their interview process or else they will keep losing the potential talent and more importantly will keep wasting others time.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Unifonic (Lahore) in Sept 2021
Interview
Firstly, someone approached me on linked in, got my CV and got back to me after ~4-5 months, they scheduled an online call, all went well.
BUT, than they scheduled my technical interview, as soon as it was scheduled, next day i got a call from my employer asking about this interview, i was very surprised how my data got leaked, i connected dots and 1 of the interviewer(planned) was linked(former employee of HR director of my company). I told this to their recruiter, she apologised and all, and i only asked her to change the panel(remove that person from my process), she told me he was from some consultancy firm and not employee of unifonic, i said fine, just don't engage him in my process, though my job was at risk now because of this data leak.
But after about a week, she called again and said he did not do it intentionally, blah blah blah... AND, YOU MUST GO IN INTERVIEW WITH THE SAME GUY!
I told her i don't feel comfortable, because of the incident, and she said, sure your choice, thank-you for your time, bye bye.
I mean who on earth treats privacy compromises like so!
Very disappointed, and never want to work in such place.

Question 1
Do you want to interview with the same guy(from a consultancy we hired) who leaked your process info to your current employer, or want to cancel the process as is?
