I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Undertone (New York, NY) in Sept 2010
Interview
Applied for the position online. I received a call from HR to schedule a phone interview and did so. Phone interview went well and I was brought in 2 days later to meet with the hiring manager. Discussion went well also and I was a great fit for the role they were looking to fill (his words not mine). He said they would be in touch shortly. I followed up with the HR manager with a thank you and she responded that the hiring manager said he was impressed and they would be in touch in the next few days. That was the last I EVER heard from them either via email or phone. I followed up 10 times over a 3 month period and never heard another word. The interview process was fair, but the lack of closure was very unprofessional. I don't think it's too difficult to respond to an email saying "we've decided to move on". They definitely showed their inexperienced culture.

Why do you think you would be a good fit for this role?

Interview
Applied online and received an email from the HR generalist a few days later to set up a phone screen. The process of setting this up took close to five business days, as the rep was out of the office. Phone screen went well, so I was invited to interview two members of the sales/marketing team. The two employees I interviewed with were very nice and we had a great conversation, but I also got the feeling that they had someone else in mind for the role — the meeting seemed way too informal if that makes any sense.
Never got a response to my followup email, either.
