      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Uncommon Goods

      Interview

After I submitted my resume online, and after almost a couple months, they emailed me and was invited for a technical skill assessment. On the assessment date, I was scheduled to have a conversation with HR specialist. Two weeks later, the seasonal HR recruiter called me and schedule for 2nd round interview. I talked with the department manager and had a group interview with other candidates. On the same date, I had the interview result and I got hired as a drop ship customer service representative.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Uncommon Goods (Brooklyn, NY) in Nov 2018

      Interview

Group Interview. There were about 10 of us. A supervisor tossed out questions to the room. The room was considerate, considering it was everyone for themselves. I only did this first part of the interview. I went there ( it was seasonal work) even though I'm traveling the week after Thanksgiving. That was a deal breaker for them. They were training everyone for five days the week after Thanksgiving.

      Question 1

If you were asked to perform a task that you weren't trained for, what would you do?

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We start hiring for some our seasonal positions at the end of the summer, while the majority of roles are hired and onboarded the weeks leading to Thanksgiving and Black Friday/Cyber Monday. We are sorry that your scheduled was not in line with our hiring needs this year and hope that you will consider UncommonGoods for a future opportunity.
