I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Uline (Braselton, GA) in Apr 2024
Interview
Interview process is long and arduous. Now, it is rightfully so given their reputation of choosing the best candidates for any and all positions.
Most individuals can expect to attend 6-9 interviews depending on the position and their need to fill it.
I was actually offered after only 2. Both interviews were with several people and every manager was a treat to get to know! I had a good time during this process. You will also perform a couple of aptitude tests, a personality test, and of course a drug screening.
I formally accepted their offer and provided all needed documentation to them as quickly as I could. My only issue was my high school diploma being from a school no longer registered so their HireRight process kept flagging that. I eventually obtained a signed master copy and sent that to them the day I received it. However, this is where things went sideways.
Their HR called me and very candidly spoke to me accusing me of dragging the process along and preventing my hiring to be confirmed. This was all related to my diploma issues and he called me right as I was about to take their Concentra drug screening.
HR was very condescending and frankly rude to immediately come at me with accusations instead of asking if I was having issues. No, it of course HAD to be me procrastinating in their mind.
During this conversation I attempted to explain the situation to him but he was not at all caring as to why. He then stated they could not start me at the agreed upon date and of course explained it was my doing.
Time goes by and I receive an offer from another company for $5 more per hour. I call Uline to ask if they can do better on their offer and even offered to send the written offer from another company. I was immediately shot down and told to think about things over the Memorial Day weekend.
Come Tuesday, I call them to inform them I would be accepting the other offer given the massive pay bump. However, they immediately come to bat by saying they (HR) met with the leadership and managers and they formally rescinded my offer. All because I had asked for a more competitive offering.
Be warned, the HR here has a god complex and everything wrong will always be your fault. They wield the power and will not hesitate to twist things against you.
Given that, I politely and professionally ended the phone call and wished them the best in their endeavors. However, you, the reader, need to look elsewhere. This is not a friendly work environment at all and you’ll find the smiles to be fake.

A little intimidating but nothing crazy. If you're good at your job and have good work ethics you shouldn't have a problem. Come prepared and you'll be fine. There is a number sequence test.
