Application
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Udacity in Feb 2018
Interview
I applied online and was reached out by hr. It was an one hour video interview. The interviewer gave me a dataset and asked me to write a parser. I got an email one hour after the interview about the next round.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Given a dataset separated by space, write a parser.
Good overall experience. Coding rounds were easy to cope. Mainly focussed on how you tackle the question. 1st round is 45 min coding interview, followed by a 4-hr interview session with a mix panel of engineers and HR.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Udacity (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2018
Interview
The process was really slow and took forever. I had an initial interview with one of the engineers and he had me do some basic javascript stuff. Then I had to wait an entire month to have my next interview which was a 3 hour long video chat. I felt like I did well seeing as I got all the answers to each code problem, but not sure maybe I could have done more! (not their fault). I then had to wait another 4 weeks to hear if I had gotten the job or not. I ended up getting an automated email from hr saying they had moved on with other candidates, which I was fine with, but I wasted 2 months interviewing with them I would have liked to get a more sincere rejection email. It was a huge waste of time waiting to hear back.
