The interview process was thorough and professional. The environment is beautiful as it sits in a wooded area. I noticed the diversity on campus which made me feel more at home.
The interview took place on Zoom and was pretty easy. When they called to schedule the interview they gave me a quick rundown of the position and what to expect. asked 10 straight forward questions and there were only 2 interviewers on the call. It took almost a month to get back to me afterwards, but I think that’s pretty typical in student affairs.

Question 1
What is your experience presenting to large groups?
I applied online. I interviewed at UW-Parkside in Mar 2021
Interview
After applying online, I was contacted by HR for a 30 minute virtual interview. The interview ended being with 5 (!) department managers - this took me by surprise, as I hadn't been told beforehand and thought it would be a screening by the HR rep.
About a week later, I was invited to campus for another interview with the same people, along with a brief talk with the university chancellor and a campus tour. They asked a lot of the same questions from the video interview.
I was offered the position about 2 weeks later but declined in favor of a job with another company.
