I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at USG (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2013
Interview
Initial contact was by phone. A time was set up for an interview with the hiring manager at a later date. There were several one-on-one interviews with different people in the organization to which I was applying. The questions became repetitive and it was clear many of the interviewers were reading off of a company HR script.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at USG in Apr 2021
Interview
First interview was quick and simple. Overall was pleasant, and the recruiter was easy going, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole interview. I would recommend having questions ready, because the initial interview is about getting to know you.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at USG (New York, NY) in Feb 2016
Interview
Easy. Lay up . The people were more into getting to know you. No curve ball questions or anything that was unusual. Enjoyed the interview but feel like I didn’t learn much about the role.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at USG in Mar 2014
Interview
I was called for a phone interview that lasted about an hour. Due to a tight timeline, they were making hiring decision based solely on phone interviews with candidates, which really surprised me. During the hour call the interviewer gave a basic rundown of the position and products, asked questions unique to my resume and application, then asked questions that every candidate would be asked.
