I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Cedar Rapids, IA) in Aug 2015
Interview
Very quick and easy process. Applied on the 12th. Took my test a week later. Scored an 82.3. Interviewed, took my drug test, and submitted my background check on the 24th. Got my job offer on the 25th. One thing to remember is that your test scores absolutely count. I interviewed with about 40 other people and only six positions were open. Thank God we had no veterans present because they get veteran preference.
