      Accountant Interview

      11 Jan 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Washington, DC
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Washington, DC) in May 2012

      Interview

Initial contact was made via a phone call. Questions were not very technical, focusing more on the "fit and feel" that I would bring. Received a follow-up call in about a week, inviting me down for an interview at headquarters. That was rescheduled a couple of times, each time being sooner than the previous one. The in-person interview interview was equally as liberal. I met the whole department, as well as several managers from other departments. After the day was complete I flew back home. Soon after landing I was called and offered the position.

      Interview

you interview with managers so be ready to impress them with your background skills and communication skills. they ask alot of behavior questions during interview. showing them that you really know accounting helps instead of the fact that you took accounting 101.

      Accountant Interview

      28 Apr 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Washington, DC
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Washington, DC) in May 2010

      Interview

The interview was roughly straight forward. I came in and interviewed with the manager of the department. I was supposed to interview with the department supervisor also but she just happened to call out sick that day. I was recruited through my schools career services department. I then applied via the companys website. I was selected to interview. I interviewed on a Friday and was offered the job the following Wednesday.
