I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at US Patent and Trademark Office (Alexandria, VA) in Aug 2015
Interview
About a month after applying, I received an e-mail to come to Virginia for a first interview. The initial interview was with between five and seven attorneys at once. Most of the attorneys were silent and only listened while about three others asked the questions. After the interview I heard back from them in about two months.

Interview
Very long application process. Submitted my application in October and did not receive a final decision until March (after interview). Interview questions were straight forward. They asked if I knew anyone working there so networking may help.

Interview
I went through three to four rounds in this process, including drafting a paper to answer questions that they had preformed regarding trademarks and two in-person interviews with panels of the managing staff in the trademark division at the USPTO. After application, the timing took nearly three months from start to finish.
