Easy interview
Application
I applied online. I interviewed at US Patent and Trademark Office in Jun 2020
Interview
Very smooth. 5 behavioral questions. 30 minutes. 60% were questions and 40% describing the role. The interview was one to one through Webex (the audio had to be connected through an external device like a phone) with the supervisor of the department

Question 1
What to I think a Patent Examiner does, How do you manage insurance productivity, Name a time where you had to manage many projects or tasks at the same time, how to handle criticism.
Brief 4 question interview. Lasted about 25 minutes. Had time for questions at the end. Got an email saying I was not selected a couple months later. My resume is still on file and says 'referred' though.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at US Patent and Trademark Office (Dallas, TX) in Nov 2016
Interview
So I applied on USA JOBS deadline was October, 1 month later I get an email saying my application is being referred to a select official. A week Later I get an invitation for a webex, for an interview. That was Last week, and now I am waiting for getting a decision (Likely 2 weeks). I want to stress the person who interviews you isn't the one making the choice, they are recording answers and are then send to HR to be rated. If you are rated good you will get the job. Kinda funny because if your interviewer doesn't write good notes, then you will be rejected.
