I walked into a recruiting office and met with a recruiter. We went over the basics; my education, medical and work history, any drug use or criminal history, what I was looking for, the benefits the Army offered, etc.. I took the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test on a computer and a light physical test (push-ups, sit-ups, and a run). The recruiters were professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating.
