Question 1
Describe a time you made a mistake at work and how you recovered.
I applied online. I interviewed at UNICEF USA in Feb 2018
Interview
I applied for the fellowship online and I heard back from current person in fellowship. This person requested a phone interview that I thought was pretty straightforward. I did not hear back from this person for two weeks (after I sent another email asking for an update). After I sent that email, I was almost immediately notified that I moved on to the next phase for the skype interview with the director of the fellowship. That interview was pretty straightforward as well. I thought it went really well. I never heard back from her or UNICEF, even with the follow up emails I sent. The interview experience was fine, it was just the lack of communication from the interviewers that drove me crazy. I was surprised that such a large nonprofit would not at least have the decency to tell you if you had made it to the next round or not.
