Interview
I was interviewed for level 8 position. It was, to say the least, an odd experience. Online competency-based interview was extremely unpleasant - did not start on time, the panelists were uninterested and distracted and constantly going on and offline. The questions were very long and there was absolutely no feedback whatsoever during the questions (in terms whether you skipped to answer part of the question e.g.). As a side-note, level of English of the panelists was surprisingly low. Overall experience felt like nobody cared, the level of their IDGF attitude was insane. HR furthermore contacted my referees and gave ridiculous instructions - to send references via mail if they're unable to send them from their business email addresses. They also required all the diplomas prior to interview. After all the hustle, I received an automated email saying they were not interested in hiring me. The process is time consuming not only for the candidates, but the referees as well. Worth double-thinking if you want to apply.

What is the best thing you learnt in one of your previous positions, is it something you pass onto your colleagues, why is it important to you?
3 steps interview but I didn't pass the first round. At the first round they ask about real life example and how we deal with it. As I have very little experience so I do not know the next step/

Interview
After submitting my application online, UNDP followed up asking to complete a writing task to aid in the selection process. After submitting that, there is a Skype interview with your potential supervisor.
