I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at UCLA (Los Angeles, CA) in Jul 2015
Interview
Usually, we will have an onsite interview for 1-hour talk. We introduce our former research work and research plan. We have 30min to answer the questions and discuss the position research and so on. After 1 week, we can get the final results.
The interview process was pretty straightforward, It lasted about 30 minutes, and one professor talked to me in detail about my interests and goals. The talk was great and a good experience for me.
One-hour presentation of research. Followed by a detailed interview with the supervisor. He was direct and wanted to know exactly what my skillset was and my confidence in getting experimental work done.
Great and enriching experience during the whole time there. Would highly recommend people and friend to go to UCLA and receive marvel education and training. In the meantime, the process is smooth and great.
