The initial interviewer demonstrated a clear lack of technical competency and struggled to ask relevant questions about the role. It became obvious they hadn't properly reviewed my background or understood the position's requirements. Their questions were superficial and showed no real understanding of the technical skills needed for the role.
Despite these red flags, I continued through multiple rounds, including interviews with the hiring manager and department head. I invested significant time and effort preparing for each round, rearranging my schedule, and taking time away from other opportunities.
After all this, HR completely ghosted me. No rejection email, no feedback, not even a courtesy acknowledgment. Multiple follow-up attempts went unanswered. This shows an absolute disregard for candidates' time and a fundamental lack of professional courtesy.
The entire experience reflects poorly on the company's culture and hiring practices. If this is how they treat potential employees during the recruitment process.when they're supposedly trying to make a good impression—. can only imagine how they treat actual employees.
I strongly advise candidates to reconsider before investing their time with this organization. There are plenty of companies that respect candidates and conduct professional hiring processes. This isn't one of them.
