I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UBS
Interview
First round was purely competency based over the phone "what was the most difficult decision you had to take in the past 12 months" "why UBS" and "how would you invest 1 million USD".
Second round consisted of another numerical test, a presentation of a company (had 30 minutes to prepare a SWOT analysis), a competency-based interview, and an interview based on your knowledge of the markets. All was fairly simple, and people were very nice.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you think the USD will develop in the future.
The process consisted of a Hirevue type interview, then superday with mix of standard technicals with more senior members of the team, had to discuss company / news I found interesting
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard technical questions, behavioral with more senior bankers
Applied and got an email for a HireVue. They gave 7 days to complete it. It was very straightforward and easy. Just like other HireVues and not too many questions. Not the hardest questions in the world but not the easiest. Just an average experience.
I applied through university. I interviewed at UBS in Sept 2025
Interview
Standard technical questions, tell me about yourself, where you see yourself in 5 years, pitch a stock, walk through a deal you’ve done, time to ask them questions. Some of the ppl can obviously look checked out so don’t take it personally.
