The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Tyler Technologies (Lakewood, CO) in Jan 2010
Interview
Skills test was a programming exercise to be completed in C++, C#, or Java. Time limit was 4 hours, though it was suggested 1-2 hours was normal.
Phone interview was with their HR person. Good to know that they have one in a small office/recently acquired company. She was very helpful with information about the history of the company, work culture, etc. Interesting question: do you see yourself continuing on a technical or a business career path?
I responded quickly to an ad, but I was still behind other people in the interview process, perhaps from previous listings. So jump on this one quickly.

Question 1
Do you see yourself continuing on a technical or a business career path?
I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tyler Technologies (Lakewood, CO) in Sept 2025
Interview
Technical: Fantastic, overseers helped me code and were interested primarily how i worked, not how well i did. I was assigned to program a game with an algorithm to properly adjust and see how I worked in a team
I applied online. I interviewed at Tyler Technologies (Lubbock, TX)
Interview
Only had a phone interview and it was average. I was not prepared to be asked any technical questions, so it was a little rough for me answering the questions.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Tyler Technologies in Feb 2025
Interview
Easy process, took a few weeks from start to finish, simple(ish) coding challenge, technical interview with a few members of the team, and then a few weeks of waiting. Communication was good and everyone seemed great!
