These two steps were completed within a week, and then I never received any feedback on the submitted case.I found this lack of response very unprofessional, considering the time I invested in the case. After submitting the case and waiting almost 4 weeks without any response, and after sending two follow-up emails, I received an automated email stating that I would not be moved forward in the process. As a side note, the company wanted a senior data scientist who could contribute to their "Bayesian framework" but they also frequently mentioned 'confidence intervals' and 'p-values' in their estimations. This reflects a weak understanding of fundamental statistical inference and more emphasis on commercial viability, which is questionable for candidates with a strong background in statistics who want to apply their knowledge.
