I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Turner's Outdoorsman
Interview
I got called in for an interview, and was asked some very simple questions. They asked what my experience with fishing and guns were, why I wanted to work for them, and other retail experience I have. They were very easy and straightforward questions, so if you have at least some retail experience and are familiar with the department you want to work in, you're good to go.

Interview
Got a phone call to come in. They sat me down and asked a bit avout myeself and the industry. Overall it was pretty mellow and got hired. Make sure you dont just say "I like hunting and fishing". That wont do you much good.

I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Turner's Outdoorsman (Signal Hill, CA) in May 2016
Interview
Easy and casual interview but this probably depends on store manager. Talk about experience. No technical questions or background necessary. Don't sweat it too much. Will talk about hours available and background check with drug screening capabilities.
