I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Trustco Bank (Colonie, NY) in Sept 2012
Interview
You start off by getting your fingerprints taken. Then, you take an to see how you would handle certain situations. Next, you take a seat for your 1 on 1 interview. Once the interview is done, they'll send you out and you hear back in about a week.
Pretty easy process. They asked basic interview questions, and I was hired immediately! Overall process was painless and not time consuming. Pay was okay but gained a nice experience working there.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Trustco Bank (Davenport, FL) in Dec 2017
Interview
The interview process was done over the phone. I was very nervous so I felt like I messed up a few times during the interview. I had 14 years of cash handling experience and I'm pretty sure that is what helped me get the job. They make you feel comfortable so there really is no reason to be nervous like I was. Just go in confident and answer the questions and you will do just fine! When the interview was over I was told I would hear from someone in 10-14 days. I interviewed on Wednesday and heard back from personnel the following Monday. They do check references and background check. I start orientation soon and I'm very excited to get into my branch and start working again!
