I had one interview were the manager gave me run down of how things go. I then had another interview where I signed the paperwork. Then they had me go down to Florence (an hour and a half away) just to sign another few pieces of paper. Then they had me drive to another part of Florence to get my I.D. card. Then they had me come back about a week later for a U/A and then had me come back once again for a week of paid training. What they dont tell you is that your paid training wont be paid to you until after your first two weeks of actually working at the unit. I got hired Aug. 15, went to the week of training in late Sept. and my first check was Oct. 17. They said to keep track of your mileage through this whole thing, that all the mileage would be paid for but I was never paid for any of it. They are not very specific about any of the process, they dont know how long any of it takes, and they never know the status of anything.
