I interviewed with Tremco in Coaldale and would like to share my experience. While I appreciated being contacted for an opportunity, the overall process raised concerns regarding professionalism and respect for applicants’ time.
First, I was repeatedly called back for additional interview steps that ultimately had no clear purpose or outcome. Each trip required me to walk nearly an hour to reach the facility, and being asked to make this long trip multiple times without meaningful progress in the hiring process felt inconsiderate and unnecessary. Clear communication and respect for an applicant’s time are important, and unfortunately this was lacking.
During the interview itself, I was asked questions about why a previous contract of mine ended. These questions felt inappropriate and unrelated to my qualifications for the role. The conversation shifted away from my skills and experience and toward personal employment history details that are not typically required in a professional interview.
Additionally, one of the managers had previously worked with me at another company. Because of that prior connection, the interaction felt uncomfortable and avoidant, giving the impression that personal history was influencing the process rather than a fair and unbiased assessment of my abilities.
Interviews should be conducted with professionalism, transparency, and respect for applicants’ time and boundaries. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect these standards. I hope this feedback helps improve the process for future candidates
