Travis Perkins interview questions

I applied for a Personal Assistant role and, while I understand not every application results in an interview, I was surprised to receive a follow-up email stating that my application had not been considered due to my home location. Given that I’ve successfully managed this commute for several years in similar roles without issue, I found this reasoning unexpected. While I appreciate transparency in recruitment, the decision felt dismissive and might have been better handled through a conversation rather than email. Location-based assumptions can overlook individual circumstances and risk excluding capable candidates unnecessarily.
