My experience with Travel Fusion’s recruitment process was disappointing and lacked professional courtesy. They reached out strategically. After an initial interview where I received extremely positive feedback, I was informed that the company would make a decision promptly, especially as they were aware I was in the final stages with another firm.
However, the process stalled for six weeks. During this time, I received weekly messages "checking in" on my status, but no actual updates or progress were made on their end. After more than a month of being kept in this holding pattern, I received a generic rejection with minimal feedback.
It appeared that the internal hiring process was misaligned and potentially used for benchmarking rather than filling the role efficiently. Stalling a candidate for over a month while requesting constant status updates only to provide a generic rejection, is inconsiderate of a job seeker's time and emotional energy. I would advise future candidates to be cautious of the timeline and transparency during their recruitment cycle.
