While my technical interviews were positive, I was disappointed by the AVP's demeanor. As a potential team member, I anticipated a more welcoming and respectful approach, especially from someone in a senior leadership position. Unfortunately, during both of our calls, he joined 10 minutes late without any prior notice or apology, casually mentioning he was in another meeting. This lack of consideration made me feel undervalued and unwelcomed. His behavior seemed inconsistent with the leadership qualities I would expect from a company I’d want to join, which has made me question whether this company culture aligns with my professional goals. Additionally, during the interview process, the AVP asked me to relocate, despite HR initially stating that the position was remote. I completed all rounds of interviews, but three weeks later, I was informed that I didn't receive the offer. I suspect that my decision to decline relocation may have played a significant role in this outcome, further contributing to my doubts about whether this was the right opportunity for me.
