I applied online. I interviewed at Travelers (Diamond Bar, CA) in Oct 2013
Interview
Applied online. Phone interview from corporate office was great. The relationship I had with the corporate recruiter was warm and inviting. She was very informative and a joy to work with. It took 3 weeks to be called in for an onsite interview. When I did speak with the HR Dept @ the DB office, HR was huffing and sounded bothered. Questions at onsite read directly from interview sheet. I was interviewed by 3 managers. I was new to the insurance arena, yet had equivalent work experience in an outside field. The interviewers kept asking direct nursing experience based questions. At one point I caught one of the interviewers rolling her eyes. It was by far the worst experience I have had interviewing anywhere in my career. 2 of the 3 interviewers were very nice, one was mildly unpleasant the entire time. It did not feel like warm or inviting environment. Having worked in management, hiring, training and coaching for years, I was surprised by the lack of warmth and the rigidity of the interview.

Question 1
How have I handled dealing with an angry or upset Dr. in the past.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Travelers (West Bridgewater, MA) in Dec 2023
Interview
The interview process was seamless. I was always aware of what was going to take place every step of the way.
I interviewed with HR for a phone screen, then an in-person interview with two as a panel, two others one on one in the same day. Travelers was very transparent throughout the duration of the process; probably the best interviewing process I have had. I received my answer within the week.

Question 1
How would you handle a patient that is presenting as "difficult"?
I applied online. I interviewed at Travelers (Buffalo, NY) in Feb 2021
Interview
It was long and interrogative with 3 managers in the room and being recorded. Very difficult questions especially for someone who didn’t come from this field. Questions have nothing to do with the job

Question 1
Describe a time in your personal life where you overcame something and the steps you took to over come
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Travelers (Walnut Creek, CA) in May 2018
Interview
I submitted my application on a Thursday and took an assessment test immediately after submission. This took approximately 1 or so hours. The following Tuesday, I received an email to schedule a phone interview which took place a week later. Three in person interviews thereafter, one week apart. STAR type questions. There is no question that interviews can be very stressful but just take a deep breath and answer the questions.
I went over the job description many times and familiarized myself with the company. There is a lot of information online so do your research.
