Exhausting lengthy questionnaire with search firm (Major Lindsey and Africa) followed by 2 phone interviews with search firm, followed by an hour behavioral based interview to even get presented to Transdev. Search firm hid fact that Transdev does not offer equity. Finally got to the interview with the peer at Transdev who disclosed the CEO and COO called him at midnight about labor contracts. Also the peer stated there would not be time for strategic things like pursuing bargaining unit consolidations and decertifications given the DGC would be personally negotiating 20 plus contracts a year leaving no time for process improvements. Making a DGC travel 50-60% and not allowing them time to make process improvements is setting the role up to fail. I pulled out given it’s below market salary and benefits without equity were not worth the travel and long hours. Transdev has its priorities wrong and does not appear to know what they are doing - avoid.
