I applied in-person. I interviewed at Trader Joe's in May 2013
Interview
The process it self was not hard at all. I went to drop of my application and just my luck one of the mangers were there. He asked me a couple of questions about trader Joe's. Sadly, I did not know much about the company and right off the bat the manager could tell I was not to familiar with the company.

What kind of previous sales associate experiences do I have?
The interview process was pretty standard for a retail environment. They asked the usual questions you would expect for this type of role and required the usual amount of experience.

Question 1
How will you improve the customer experience at Trader Joes
Was awesome - very friendly and down to earth, seems like a great place to work. Hope I get the job. Some easy questions, about work experience and the like, but also some curveballs. They asked me to give a lot of scenarios where I encountered certain difficulties and $18 an hour is not bad.
