I walked in, received an application from the front desk for a position in the Assisted Living (AL) part of the facility. Received a call from the director of AL a few weeks later. We scheduled an interview. Interview took place in a small room at the front of the facility. Was offered a position as a Med Tech at base pay even though I have a few years worth of experience with the job. I took the job with base pay because of convenience of location and I expect a promotion to a different role when the opportunity presents itself.
