I've received word of an art position opening at the company, and sent my portfolio, resume, and cover letter in to be considered. Soon, my information was forwarded to the art director who emailed me about coming to the office for an in-person interview. The interview process mostly consisted of the art director asking me about my previous design experience and my qualifications directly related to my resume. It was rather straightforward, and every answer I gave seemed to be validated by the director who would affirm that the ideal person for this job would have the same qualities and skill set that I just articulated I had from past experience and technical knowledge. Following the in-person interview, the art director sent me a design test to be completed and returned the same day to access my approach to the project as well as my design aesthetic.
