I applied through a recruiting company. I already negotiated a range of salary with the recruiting company before the interview process started and Toshiba agreed to that range. Interview process was very slow. The organization is not mature so I felt lot of uncertainties. I declined the offer because, they lowballed the offer even after they agreed to a range before the interview. I asked the reason why they have interviewed me knowing that I won't come for the low offer, they said, that is all they can afford and they thought that I may take the offer if I am desperate.
