First stage interview was proposed as a get to know... turned into a few competency based questions that required quite indepth answers for a "just to get to know your background" to be able to then do within 15-20 minutes?
It was alright, just basic customer service questions. It does help to research some of the main products, to know what you’re talking about. Just be friendly and confident and you won’t find it difficult.

Toolstation communicated regards their interest in proceeding me to interview quickly and expectations were clearly outlined. The interview was competency based and they showed an interest in getting to know about me and my experience. They fed back quickly as to their decision, offering to provide feedback, however on requesting this, I have not yet received.
