Disorganized. They advertised for the position and after a screening interview by the recruiter I was interviewed by the hiring manager. The hiring manager started by telling me that they weren't hiring for that position and he chose to continue for an hour. At the end he said he'd convince management that they needed to hire the position. I was then reinterviewed by the recruiter and later by one of the founders. I ended up having seven conversations/interviews in all. During the interviews I was asked to produce numerous deliverables, many parts of which subsequently appeared on their web site. In the end I was told that they wouldn't be filling that role and therefore I wouldn't be a fit. Fair enough although I'm glad many of my deliverables are good enough to be part of their toll kit.
