I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Tixr (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2025
Interview
Long, drawn out, with confused team members who seemed lost in the process of restructuring. Initial interviewer was much more competent and confident, and it went down hill from there. About 4 different calls, and a project. Communication was poor after the initial outreach. I wouldn't waste my time or recommend for others to.
Recruiter conversation -> High level director of eng -> technical screen -> higher-level technical interview -> ghosted.
The team I spoke to seemed pretty genuine and intelligent, the questions were fair and well-thought out. But after multiple ignored follow-ups to the recruiter and another employee, I suppose they passed on me. Weird way to treat a candidate.

multi-step interview process with screener, direct manager, then the two ceos. seem to eb the type that value personality (passionate, forward people) and longevity at the company. seem like a very 'man' or 'guy' company and value hard work and grit.
