I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TikTok (Dublin, Dublin) in Aug 2021
Interview
After I had submitted my CV through LinkedIn I received a screening call from a recruiter about 4 days later. It’s at this stage if you get the call that you know your in the top 5% of applicants.
After this I received an invite to a zoom interview with a person currently working on the team. Usual questions such as tell me about yourself, what do you know about the role, why tiktok, and different scenario based questions. If your prepared and answer in the STAR format, you’re good as gold.
Within the hour after completing the first interview I received a second interview invite with another person that worked on a cross functional team. Questions at the start were similar to the first interview however depending on your answers then relevant situational questions from your experience were asked based on what you’ve said.
After a few hours I received a third invite to an interview with someone from the HR team in China. This was the final interview. Started with the same questions as previously and then was more situational based about what you’ve experienced and also if you experienced it how would you approach it, toward the end of the interview was about explaining the role and types of shifts and asked about expected salary.
After 3 days I received an email inviting me for a call with HR where I was then offered the job.
The whole interview process was pleasant and enjoyable with the interviewers I had. Very swift and the recruiter was responsive. Felt more like a conversation discussing experiences rather than an interrogation.

The interviews were structured as two case study interviews with operation leads and then a behavioral interview with the head of department. They tend to move fast (all interviews scheduled within 2 weeks)
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TikTok in Nov 2023
Interview
The procedure was largely automatized, yet the mismatch orchestrated by the talent acquisition team between the candidate and job position resulted in productiveness. Ended up, I was not being shortlisted for the 2nd interview without any reason.

Question 1
This is a high-ranking position that doesn't involve managing a team, unlike your current job where you are a manager. How comfortable would you be transitioning into this role without having a team to lead?
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at TikTok (Mountain View, CA)
Interview
It seemed very unorganized. The interviews themselves were a little inconsistent. Response times varied from weeks to a month. Overall, it wasn't bad. I just wished they were more communicative about where I was in the interview process.
