I applied online. I interviewed at TikTok (London, England) in Apr 2021
Interview
Applied online, received email asking availability for interview. Interview was sent using Lark (video platform) which didn’t end up working so had to use zoom. I was waiting 15 mins before reaching out to talent acq, wrong interview time was set due to not realising BST time change so had to continue waiting. First interview went well, interviewer was kind. Asked questions about experience and a few hypothetical questions regarding role. A small language barrier but she was very understanding. Invited to second interview a week later, interviewer wasted no time and asked questions regarding role, again a lot of hypothetical questions and scenarios. Did not have a friendly air and also had language barrier . Asked an interviewer a question regarding the team but couldn’t answer. A few trick questions throughout.
It took 14+ days from my last interview to hear back, which is not okay. Emails were also ignored
Please work on different interview questions and varied interview times (9am-11am they base it on Beijing time) . Also they applicants which video platform they would like to use and Lark is not apopulsr fav
