Questions are related to the position. However positions are not given to the most suitable candidate. Internal relationships help the most. In my case even if I was the most suitable candidate with several years of experience and almost a completed Profesorship I did not get the position, but a PHD junior from the institute.

Man wurde gebeten einen (vorbereiteten) Vortrag über geplante Forschungsvorhaben zu halten. Die Präsentation bzw. der Vortrag wurde im Anschluss mit allen Anwessenden diskutiert. Danach gab es ein 'normales Vorstellungsgespäch', Fragen zu den persönlichen Fhigkeiten, den Studiumsinhalten und so weiter.
