I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Thoughtworks (Mumbai) in Jul 2019
Interview
Countless interviews with multiple panels or single interviewer. Everytime I cleared a round, I was told that I need to sit for another round that they will schedule on another day. Post clearing 3 or 4 rounds successfully I was supposed to go through another couple of rounds and it was very irritating. You can't be on top of your game everyday with everybody. The whole process took nearly more than a month. This was last year so I don't remember all the details although I distinctly remember that majority of the panel members were younger than me and had no experience or knowledge of what to question let alone knowing the answer. Very hectic process and makes the company look highly unprofessional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Hypothetical case study based on unrealistic scenarios with no decisive or objective information
Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us, and I’m sorry it wasn’t a more positive one for you. We’re a consensus-driven culture in a lot of matters, especially hiring, and it can lead to lengthier processes. We've been rolling out some pretty significant changes to our interview process and we're tracking closely to make sure candidates have a better experience.

Interview
Very tactical interview process, which will eventually let you grow as an individual. The process includes the case study documentation and the role playing interview, which is one of a kind experience and lets the company hire the appropriate talented resource.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Role playing questions based on the case study document and resources shared.
Multiple rounds. 3 case study based rounds one leadership. Need to be detailed in answers and ask questions. They try to understand what is your thinking process. Panel will also try to try to challenge you to see you are sticking with your decision.
The interview process is good and equally challenging. Two interviewers take every round. One will be asking questions and the other will be watching and observing our answers. Our character will also be analysed parallel during the interview.
