First round was an on-line coding challenge in skillenza, which had one questions(Game of bits).
I'm 2+ year experienced software engineer. I was contacted by recruiting specialist from Thoughtworks Chennai, after a week. My interview was scheduled the following week. Which had Pair Programming Interview, 2 rounds of Technical Interview, leadership round and social justice round.
In Pair programming round i was asked to design and code Hand cricket way in object oriented way, where they excepted us to identify the objects, behavior and property.
This was followed by Tech interview 1 with 2 Thoughtworkers, where it was more about all data structures, database query, real-time ds, questions based on work experience and data structures used.
Then was Tech interview 2, which was breadth and depth with 2 Thoughtworkers it was more discussion rather than question answer type. The discussion was based on the things that need to be focused while developing a online IDE with a rapid increasing user base, we discussed code design, load balancing(clustering), database, request handling. In behind I was questioned on algorithm complexities, college projects, current project I work in and technologies i known. Next two round happened after a week, which I preferred to be face 2 face instead of video call.
Round 4 was leadership where it was about what sort of person you are in both professionally and attitude, decision making skills and interests. I was detail of self intro with elimination.
Final round was Social justice round this was one of pillars of Thoughtworks, this round was a face to face round. Its basically to know what's your view towards social issues like caste based system, women in workspace, LBGT. Few situation were given and i was asked what I feel and how would I react to it. Be honest, confident and polite. I was provided an offer as Application developer.
All the Thoughtworkers who interviewed me and HR's included in this process were very humble and kind.
