I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Third Bridge (New York, NY)
Interview
First is a quick phone interview with basic questions. Then you meet with some of their team leaders to discuss the hedge fund side and the private equity side. They want to check if you just understand the basics of the industry with easy case study questions. Then final round of interview is focuses more on your knowledge of finance, and more of a questions of a current financial topic. Overall, the HR department is a mess and they are terrible at communicating and getting back to you in a timely fashion.

Interview
Dont let them trick you into thinking this is an actual research position. You will be cold calling people most of your day. The interview process is relatively simple, first spoke with a recruiter who passed me onto an in-person round. I never heard from them after that.

Question 1
Given this case industry, what types of industry experts would you contact on behalf of a client who is looking to invest in a company within that sector.
Had an interview for Forum role in Hongkong. Straightforward interview. The recruiter was very pleasant and nice, she was very professional. Prepare for your understanding of the role, although she was very nice in explaining the role in details, you knew it’s a major concern if you have no idea about the position youre applying. She also provides transparent feedback which I really appreciates. Not all companies or recruiters do the same. I always see this recruiter in job fairs and she’s overall nice and very accommodating. I would recommend trying an interview as it will change your perspective about the company and the role.
