Think HQ interview questions

The interview process was partly online and partly in person - I met with senior team members and the owner, and then with a senior colleagues I would be working with day to day. There vibe was warm and friendly, questions were asked about my skills and experience, and also the discussion was open enough to consider how the role might be shaped. There definitely seemed to be a focus on ensuring I was a culture fit, hence the multiple interviews, not just what was on my CV.

They pulled me in for an interview and then told me that putting me in the role would be a "disaster" and I would "fail miserably". Then followed up by stating that I had an interesting mix of experience and they would like to keep my resume on hand for future opportunities? It was a strong no.
