I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2020
Interview
Scheduled a meeting with HR on Friday morning, he asked several general questions and promised to get back to me next Tuesday, since his vacation starts Wednesday.
For the next few days, he did not respond to any e-mail, any text. Took three phone calls on Tuesday to get him to answer, said he with his kids, and haven't connected with the hiring manager yet, will get back to me on Wednesday.
Whole day Wednesday did not respond to e-mail, text, or phone call.
The same was for Thursday and Friday. I still don't know if they rejected me or am I still in the process.
Conclusion: Don't put too much faith in Thermo Fisher's HR. If they dodge you for more than 2 days, move on.
