I had a terrible first screening with the recruiter- I was grilled on why I was planning on leaving and made to feel like a job hopper (note that I was at my current job more than 5 years at that point but seems like most employees are expected to be ‘lifers’ ?) and basically treated with suspicion as to why I would consider joining Thermo Fisher when I had worked at some of the most progressive (Apple/Amazon -type places) corporations in the world. It was like the recruiter was in disbelief as to why I wanted to leave for such a ‘boring ‘ company at the same time expected me to sing praises about Thermo.
I was really excited about the position at that time but after this fiasco, I was done. The tone in the questions were very negative.
It was a really strange experience.
A rejection was never received either.

Interview
Very typical questions, nothing shocking. Interview still done virtually and typically had received follow up within a few business days. Not much else to say other than exactly what you would think they would ask
First interview was a phone interview. Then, the second interview was virtual with video. Interviewer was friendly but ghosted the interviewee without further information, even after several follow-ups. I would recommend to improve one's resume, but it is highly dependent on which department you applied the job for.
