I applied online. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (New York, NY)
Interview
I found out the opening from Indeed and applied via Thermo Fisher's website. It took about 1 month before a company contract recruiter contacted me. I did 2 phone screening with her. The first was very brief because I got caught up in work and she only had time to give me an introduction and asked me if I was still interested in the position. I said yes I was interested in the position and we scheduled the second phone screening. Only at the end of the second phone screening she brought up that the management team prefer SAP background though on the job description both SAP and Oracle are preferred. I only have Oracle experience and I never heard from her again.
It was a group interview, we were asked to introduce ourselves and share our experiences and expectations. And the interviewer gave us an overview about the role as they were looking for people to train then to be managers
Phone screen after initial application. HR rep discussion of resume and role requirements to check against job description, expectations, location, so forth. Followed by hiring manager interview and team interview.
