I applied online. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Brooklyn, NY) in Jun 2014
Interview
it was a group interview with about 8 or so other people. the interviewer asked some questions and we all had to go around and answer them one by one. it was a bit difficult just because you had to make sure you really stood out and it was hard if you were the last to answer it because most had already said what you wanted to say.
Group interview with other canidates and panelists. Mostly get to know you style and situtational tasks. You will be interviewing alongside other canidadtes so make sure you stand out and seem unique. Howeer don;t overdo it and remain humble and willing to learn.
Fairly relaxed, standard questions related to your interest and experience with early childhood education. They didn't really go over my resume- many workers were in high school, so their expectations likely weren't high.
