I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Windsor, ON) in Apr 2012
Interview
Submitted cover letter and resume. Received an email to interview. Interview consisted of a group interview with 10+ people. Needed to present a speech to the group and lead a game/camp song. Also completed other group activities where you had to act as a leader or a follower in different situations. There was no one-on-one interview.

Question 1
How will you lead in a way that exemplifies the YMCA's core values?
Group interview with other canidates and panelists. Mostly get to know you style and situtational tasks. You will be interviewing alongside other canidadtes so make sure you stand out and seem unique. Howeer don;t overdo it and remain humble and willing to learn.
Fairly relaxed, standard questions related to your interest and experience with early childhood education. They didn't really go over my resume- many workers were in high school, so their expectations likely weren't high.
